Consumer Health Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 20, 2026
This Consumer Health Privacy Policy explains how Traiva (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects Washington consumer health data in compliance with the Washington State My Health My Data Act (MHMDA).
For general information about our privacy practices, please see our Privacy Policy.
Categories of Consumer Health Data We Collect
As a workout and gym log tracker, we may collect or process personal information that identifies, relates to, or can infer your physical health, wellness, or fitness status. This includes:
- Physical Activity and Exercise Information: Workout logs, exercise selections, set and repetition counts, weights lifted, streaks, and workout templates.
- Bodily Measurements: Body weight or other physical measurements you choose to record.
- Inferred Fitness Data: Performance metrics and progress calculations calculated locally within the app based on your workout inputs (e.g., estimated one-rep max).
Sources of Consumer Health Data
We collect consumer health data directly from you. We do not acquire health data from third-party brokers or external commercial profiles. All workout details and bodily measurements are entered manually by you within the app.
Purpose of Collection and Use
We collect and use consumer health data to support the following business purposes:
- Core App Functionality: To display and manage your local workout history, routines, and fitness progress tracking.
- Product Diagnostics: To identify, diagnose, and fix performance bugs, memory leaks, or application crashes via Sentry.
- Product Analytics: To monitor app usage, user engagement, and feature adoption via PostHog.
- Subscription Management: To verify product entitlements, billing status, and handle restore flows via RevenueCat.
We do not use consumer health data for third-party advertising, nor do we sell your data.
Sharing and Disclosure of Consumer Health Data
We may disclose the categories of consumer health data described above to our service providers and processors who perform operational services on our behalf:
- Product Analytics: We share limited usage telemetry with PostHog, Inc. to measure app engagement.
- Crash & Diagnostic Monitoring: We share operational diagnostics and crash events with Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry).
- Subscription Processing: We share purchase details and billing status with RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscription entitlements.
- App Store Services: We interact with Apple Inc. (App Store) and Google LLC (Google Play Store) to coordinate platform billing and distribution.
Your Consumer Rights Under MHMDA
If you are a Washington consumer, you have the following rights regarding your consumer health data, subject to legal verification and exceptions:
- Right to Confirm & Access: You have the right to confirm whether we are collecting or sharing your consumer health data and to request access to that data.
- Right to Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your consumer health data from our records and to have our processors/service providers delete it.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent for the ongoing collection or sharing of your consumer health data.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Because Traiva is a local-first application and does not require account creation, much of your data is stored locally on your device. You can delete your local data at any time by clearing your app storage or uninstalling the app.
For data processed by our service providers, or to submit a formal MHMDA rights request, please email us at support@traiva.app. We will verify your request and respond in accordance with statutory timelines.
