Data and Compliance
Effective date: April 23, 2026
Purpose of This Page
This page is a short summary of how Traiva Workout Tracker & Gym Log (“Traiva”) handles data at launch and how we approach launch-time privacy and compliance.
This page is provided for convenience. For full legal details, please read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If there is any inconsistency, the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use control.
Local-First by Default
At launch, Traiva does not require an account for normal use.
Traiva is a local-first app. Workout history, templates, exercise selections, sets, reps, weights, timers, and many app preferences are primarily stored on the user’s device.
Data That May Leave Your Device
Some limited categories of data may leave your device when needed for analytics, subscriptions, or diagnostics.
Analytics: PostHog
Traiva uses PostHog for product analytics.
At launch:
- analytics is required
- there is no user opt-out yet
- analytics is used for screen views, high-intent product actions, monetization events, and limited performance measurements
Traiva’s current analytics payloads are intentionally limited. The app does not intentionally send raw workout names, workout notes, raw workout/template/exercise IDs, or other free-text fields through the current analytics layer.
Subscriptions: RevenueCat
Traiva uses RevenueCat as the service provider for subscription purchases, restore flows, offerings lookup, entitlement state, and related subscription management.
Store billing is handled through Apple App Store and Google Play billing systems.
Diagnostics: Sentry
Traiva uses Sentry for crash and error monitoring when a real production DSN is configured.
This helps us detect failures, investigate technical issues, and improve app stability.
What Traiva Does Not Do at Launch
At launch, Traiva:
- does not sell user data
- does not use third-party advertising SDKs
- does not require an account for normal use
- does not provide account-backed cloud sync or backup yet
How We Protect Data
Traiva uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Requests
If you have privacy, data, or compliance questions, contact:
Because Traiva is local-first and does not require an account at launch, deleting local app data or uninstalling the app may be the primary way to remove locally stored information from your device.
